Kolmo
We all know what FOD is. The short for "Foreign Object Debris". That is, any extrange or foreign object or element that can damage the engines or any other part of an aircraft, mainly during take off, landing, or taxing. Because of FOD, or to prevent any damage because of FOD, airmen of almost every air force in earth walk along the runway at least once a day to ensure te latter is free of any small object like screws or small stones than can be ingested by the air intakes of the aircraft. In the case of aircraft carriers there is a dedicated class of deck crew (don't remember what is their color right now...) whose main purpose is to ensure the deck is free of FOD at every moment. Well, during a rutinary inspection of a F/A-18 of the US Navy, a deck crew member found this... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw, sooooo cute!!! Isn't it?? It was an owl, who was found sleeping inside the left main wheel well of the F/A-18. Nicknamed "Fod" (ovbiously), the owl was nursed to health, and then transported to land, where was safely released to freedom again. Aaaaaaaaaw, what a beaaaaaaaautifuuuuul stooooooooooory !!!! Nitsuga
Yes, charming as it has not caused any accident. If not, it might have been 'the fucking owl motherfucker'
