amalahama Posted April 27, 2010 Report Share Posted April 27, 2010 Spain to buy nine EC 135 helicopters Spain is understood to be acquiring nine Eurocopter EC 135 helicopters for its army air corps, the Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra (FAMET), in a deal worth around EUR85 million (USD113 million), an industry source told Jane's on 22 April. The contract closely follows one signed in February by the Ministry of the Interior for the same model for 12 EC 135s for the country's law enforcement agencies. All the aircraft will be built at Eurocopter's facility near Albacete in southeast Spain, with the first five FAMET helicopters due to be delivered later this year and the remainder in 2011, according to the source. Neither the Ministry of Defence (MoD) nor Eurocopter have yet commented on the new contract, which is expected to be funded with special government credits given the restraints that have already seen the MoD's budget cut since the beginning of the year. H4WK Posted April 27, 2010 Report Share Posted April 27, 2010 Eso eso, que compren mas EC135 por que es una pasada de helicoptero la verdad. No se por que pero me recuerda mucho al OH-58 "Kiowa", si llevara la bola encima del rotor se pareceria aun mas... Por lo que veo van a construir los helicopteros en la planta de Albacete y si no recuerdo mal era en el progrma este de TVE "España Directo" salio un reportaje el otro dia de dicha fabrica y enseñaron entre otros este modelo en construccion y era muy interesante ver como iban trabajando en el 4 o 5 personas poco a poco casi como si fuese un trabajo artesanal, tamien enseñaron mi querido Tigre al que tenian en "paños menores" ya que todavia le tenian que poner el rotor principal y darle la mano de pintura pero llame a la fabrica y les dije que me lo pusiesesn guapo para la ocasion por que si salia mal (cosa practicamente imposible :P) les mandaba a los esbirros de Arleequin Saludos Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

caballero Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 ¡¡Por fin!! Supongo que son más helicópteros para CEFAMET en Colmenar, sustituyendo a los ya vetustos Kiowas que aún quedan. La denominación militar española es HE-26 (E de enseñanza) http://www.ejercito.mde.es/materiales/he_26.html Hasta ahora, sólo hay cuatro HE-26 operativos en el ET, matrículas HE 26-02 a HE 26-05. El Colibrí es el HE-25 (monomotor) y efectivamente se utiliza para enseñanza, pero en Armilla ya que pertenecen al Ejercito del Aire. De hecho es el modelo que usa la Patrulla Aspa.
