supongo Posted November 18, 2013 Report Share Posted November 18, 2013 Bueno, para aquellos que tienen el problema con los rotaris R1 y R2 en el G940 y que despues de liberar los famosos cables de su sujección y que vuelven a tener el mismo problema, parece que la solución definitiva es esta. Lo malo es que yo no se inglés, si alguien pudiese traducirlo correctamente se agradecería. That was fine for a sim like RoF that didn't have too many control inputs but with BoS just around the corner I felt it was worth taking another look. I'm glad I did because, after a little fiddling I now have the R1 and R2 rotaries working again. The fix was relatively easy , a couple of simple tools, a dish for the screws and just observing how it came apart, so it could be reassembled. Fortunately there were no nasty surprises or tricky bits. The problem that needed fixing was a break in the thin black wire going up the handle to the rotaries and buttons (if anyone else has tried this fix it would be interesting to know if it is always the same wire, which presumably it is) I simply stripped off part of the black rubber cable protector to locate the break and then spliced in a short replacement section (taken from an old Ethernet cable) and wrapped it in insulation tape. All in all it probably took about 45 minutes, not rushing just taking my time. So if your using a G940 that has duff R1 and R2 rotaries and you feel reasonable happy about taking apart the throttle and splicing in a small piece of wire then I highly recommend it, all the normal disclaimers not withstanding. Los problemas que tiene este joystick son varios: .Cables extremadamente finos y algo justos en cuanto a longitud. .Zona de "fatiga" en forma de cuchilla que hace que tras x movimientos los cables se vayan deteriorando. Obsolescencia programada o pura ineptitud madeinleches; no lo sé. Las consecuencias son varias: .Empieza con el conocido problema que mencionas. .Sigue el asunto cuando empiezas a perder progresivamente los botones y rótaris. La solución que plantea este tipo, bajo mi punto de vista, no deja de ser un parche. Basicamente se trata reparar el "cable negro" por la zona fastidiada (si lo he entendido bien). Pero la definitiva realmente pasa por cambiar el cableado completo por otro algo más largo y grueso. (Además de limar la zona esa donde sufren tanto los cables -todos- en los movimientos de la palanca de gases). Yo lo hize así (me lo hicieron para ser exactos XD), y de momento todo ok. Enga. P.D. Mande a hacer a China un cable para extender el cable corto. Como no me hacian uno solo, tuve que comprar 50 y de ahi que los este vendiendo por ebay. Parece tan facil como desenchufar y enchufar, pero hay que tener cuidado cuando abres y sobretodo cuando cierras ya que debes posicionar bien los cables ya que el movimiento del acelerador puede cortarte los cables. Esta en ingles, pero si os interesa me escriben en castellano desde ebay. para buscar el cable, busquen en ebay G940 throttle extension cable.. saludos! Ahora en serio, gracias por compartir la información, los usuarios del 940 te darán gracias miles. Así da gusto.
