Time for a Hornet mini-update!

Most of the team has been on the Russian new year’s holiday the past 10 days, but work will resume in full force on Tuesday.

We are in sprint mode now to bring the Early Access build of the Hornet to release status as soon as we can.
As mentioned before, much of the current work revolves around tuning the flight model / Flight Control System (FCS), weapon

integration (SMS page, HUD, and objects), the air-to-air radar, the INS system to support waypoints, and whole lotta systems and sound tuning.
Once more weapons come online, we’ll be showing them off and their delivery modes.

Our art team is also working on some new skins that we  should be showing off soon.

Today we have an image of LAU-61 rocket pods and ZUNI rockets for the Hornet.

For the next Hornet academic video, we’ll dive into the HUD, Upfront Controller (UFC), and Integrated Fuel and Engine Indicator (IFEI).

Thanks,
Matt “Wags” Wagner

Saludos!

Nueva info.

26221147_10159915960585341_5074200453719

When creating our F/A-18C Hornet, our goal has been to create the most accurate simulation of a LOT 20 Hornet possible.
One area we ran into issues with though is the defensive systems. While we had great information on the ALR-67, ALE-39, and ALQ-162, we ran
into a lot of trouble finding good data on the newer ALE-47 and ALQ-165 ASPJ systems. Because of that, we had to use the older defensive systems
panel in the bottom center instrument panel.

After a lot of hunting, we’ve been able to put enough open source information together to create a rather accurate simulation of the ALE-47 and
ALQ-165 system operations. The ALE-47 in particular provides a lot more capability in creating manual programs and the semi-automatic and
automatic programs.

Attached, you can see the new Integrated Countermeasures Control Panel (ICMCP). As you will probably notice, this panel is rather spartan.
This is because most of the functions have been moved to the EW DDI page.

http://www.portierramaryaire.com/foro/viewtopic.php?t=582

No he he podido verlo a fondo.

*F-15C: Georgian War Campaign on Steam*

The F-15C: Georgian War Campaign is now available on Steam at:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/223750/DCS_World/

Image: https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.p...1&d=1515752495

"The Georgian War" is a fictional campaign created by Chris "Viper" Long and Baltic Dragon, and is inspired by real events that took place during the Russo-Georgian War of 2008.

This campaign puts you in the role of a pilot who arrives in Tbilisi as part of a small detachment intended to present the capabilities of the F-15C to the Georgian government, which has expressed interest in purchasing several airframes. You and your colleagues are caught by surprise when armed conflict breaks out. As the fighting escalates, your small group is drawn into the war.

Throughout the campaign's 16 missions, the authors recreate some of the real-life events that happened between the 8th and 13th of August 2008. The fictionalized events presented in this campaign are based on extensive research from numerous Western and Russian publications, interviews with people who were directly involved on both sides, and several visits to the ABL (Administrative Boundary Line) with South Ossetia. The campaign aims to capture the pivotal moments of the 2008 war from a military perspective.

Key Features:

* 16 story-driven missions with some factual events from the 2008 Russo-Georgian war in the background
* Historically accurate descriptions of the situation on the ground and on the front line for the specific date and time when the mission takes place
* Extensive briefings based on real-life FRAGOs (Fragmentary Orders), as well as tactical maps
* Over 1,500 custom voice-overs and thousands of triggers

*DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 or F-15C for DCS World is required to play this campaign.*
