200th_Taro
Hello everybody.Every Sunday started at 20:00 UTC+2 time about 7 up to 11 guys from bomber squadron from Russia fly on Aces over Europe[] or Aces over Pacific server. Everybody are invited to join! Thse guys fly with discipline and they fly in beautifull formations, so I thought it would be nice to invite more people. You can escort them or try to shoot them down (which is not so easy since they fly in nice combat box formation) I flew with them many times as an fighter escort, long sorties up to 1/1.5 hour and I tell you it was like in an old il-2 days. (since these guys don't use Hypper Lobby, so you can't see on HL if they are on server or not) use this webpage http://acesovereurope.org/forum/index2.php I hope to see some of you in the air ? Saludos! *200th_Taro This is their 4 videos showing how they fly on those serevers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEEb0_vAxRYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCRQVGzjO-w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SsBfZjXqJ8 Edited May 20, 2018 by 200th_Taro

javirulo007
Thankyou Taro, As much as possible I try to connect some sundays. The only problem as you could imagine is that 20:00 spanish hour isn't a good hour here to be connected. I hope to see you again onto AoE/AoP, hopefully at your six :P Regards
200th_Taro
My pleasure! I hope some of you will join next time. Players fly there up to 2 hours and some stay longer, to 22:00 Time, so maybe you will catch someone on server at that time. Last Sunday we had 11 players, this time on AoP server. No too bad :) Players started to join the server at 20:00 P.M. (Warsaw Time) when Operation Goodtime_43 map just started (it is Solomons map) On red side we had: AnpeJIb, Rostic, Rainbow, Woodpecker (in B-24-J) Safon (F4-U) - all from Russia Bomb Squad, (only 5 guys was able to join this time, but often more guys from this squad fly there) also Haukka was there (Thanks a lot for joining man!!!) (he flew F4-U and later F6F-3),On blue side we had: Me 200th_Taro and 302=Koliber who was my wingman, and we were togheter on TeamSpeak, we flew A6M5 1./JG42_Flesch, I/JG2_Mavrik, I/JG2_Rick_W27 (they joined a bit later during the mission, all in A6M5) Me and Koliber tryed to attack 4 red guys in B-24 all the time on their way to target (from Vella Lawella Island (where 302=Koliber spotted them). We attacked them only from head on. However they were able to bomb our Ballalale AirBase a bit :( Unfortunately red side had not so many fighter players and Haukka had a hard job to do. Btw, Your interwention with Hellcat helped red bombers a lot, you almost shot down my wingman in your first pass, and we lost B-24-J's for a while when fighting with you. Also I lost some ammunition from my cannons when I was shooting at you, and later during my last attack on bombers I discovered that my cannons are empty! So we could say that you protected B-24 crew from more 20mm hits from my two Type 99-2 Mark 3 cannons. Good Job Haukka! ~S~! Finally we shoot down only 1 B-24 -J on their way home. It was near Vella Lawella Island, far away from front line. All crew bailed out safely over water in friendly (except unfriendly sharks) territory. We demaged 2 others but not seriously, and all 3 guys landed safely (exept one who crashed hes B-24 on airstrip, but pilot survived) Me and Koliber returned to base after 1h 30 min flight, with some holes in our planes from 0.50 machine guns hits. It was fun!!! Here is a download link with my Track from that flight. Recorded from the moment just before the first contact with the enemy to my landing in base. (Link will be avaiable for next 7 days) Enjoy! https://wetransfer.com/downloads/e920465e26b17e109c7a2f04c64310d320180522154558/4212e9461d233ef5f6de0c5cd0dea78b20180522154600/51069e

Haukka
Thank you very much, Taro! It was really difficult to deal with You, you are in any case more experienced than me, besides that I had to fight with my rebellious Corsair so that it does not stall. At least the bombers could move forward. S! O sea: "¡Muchas gracias, Taro! Fue realmente difícil lidiar con Vosotros, sois en todo caso más experimentados que yo que soy un paquete de cuidado, además de que debí luchar una y otra vez con mi puñetero Corsair para que no entre en pérdida, así y todo no paraba de hacer tonterías involuntarias. Al menos los bombers pudieron seguir adelante." Saludos
