Bueno, pues el otro día encontré un post donde John Venema descartaba entrar en el mercado de X-Plane:

y hoy le toca el turno a A2A:

Con esto nos podemos despedir, por lo menos de momento, de una aeronave de aviación general programada... Cuando se le pregunta a un entusiasta de X-Plane acerca del simulador inmediatamente empieza a brotar la ya conocida retahíla, "modelo de vuelo, modelo de vuelo, modelo de vuelo", pero creo que solo eso no es bastante para convertirse en un competidor de FS - P3D...

 

También es sospechosa la falta de noticias por parte de PMDG... Honestamente, me encanta hacer aproximaciones con meteo complicada en X-Plane, sentir el windshear, la pista contaminada, la malla de terreno, los bird strikes, hacer las correcciones que tengo que hacer volando aviación general, la ausencia de blurries en el terreno, pero... creo que en Laminar Research no están ofreciendo lo que el mercado les esta pidiendo para convertirse en una alternativa real a FS - P3D.

 

En este momento volar la C172 de A2A (ellos mismos reconocen que no hay conseguido modificar el modelo de vuelo todo lo que hubiesen querido) o la Katana 4X me ofrece mas satisfacción que volar aviación general en X-Plane.

 

Mi opinion es que las cosas no pintan bien para X-Plane...

Es que el friki de xplane está en otro mundo. Hay muchas cosas por solucionar desde hace años y ni siquiera las tocan, por ejemplo el agua, las nubes, etc....

Esta parte no entendí que querrá decir con el motor de arranque.

Esta parte no entendí que querrá decir con el motor de arranque.

 

Se refiere al encendido del motor, dice que en X-Plane no hay una simulación de encendido del motor, que no hay forma de hacer encendidos realistas, sólo encendido o apagado. Spool up no se que es.
