The update/patch is still in work but many more of the training tracks are broken due to update/patch changes than we first expected. Moving forward with DCS: A-10C Warthog, it is unlikely we will continue using the track file system for training missions! Between this and a couple of high-priority, time-sensitive tasks that have come up, the update/patch will probably not be released until August 2009. We understand that this is disappointing news to some, but believe me when I say that we want to release the update/patch even more than any of you. 2- DCS: Black Shark Printed Manual. Regarding North American distribution, the manuals have arrived at the distributer’s warehouse and will be sent to both GoGamer.com and Amazon.com. We apologize for the delay on this. 3- DCS: Black Shark Localization. Our localization manager and the dedicated Spanish translation team are working very hard on finalizing the Spanish version and are now at the release candidate stage. 4- DCS: A-10C Warthog. Not much to report here other than progress is good and it we will go into alpha testing after the Black Shark patch is released. Probably starting in August we’ll be discussing this project in more detail and I will start the Producer Notes soon after. We appreciate the PM beta tester application, but please note that we are not accepting beta tester applications at this time. 5- Lock On: Flaming Cliffs. As mentioned in the last update, we are working on a further evolution of this product line. However, until the software is essentially done, we will not be discussing this in any detail. Sorry. 6- 3rd Party Tools. As some of you may have noticed a Tool Wiki is available here: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/All_about_land and forum discussion here: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=89 In the near future we will be adding an additional 18 documents regarding terrain construction (kudos to Hawg11). Later in the year we will be adding additional plug-ins and instructional documents to create new aircraft. Pequeño resumen. Básicamente, no habrá parche hasta agosto 2009, porque el parche desmonta las misiones de entrenamiento. Esto es exactamente lo que ocurrió en su día también con LOMAC. También que el A-10C sigue adelante, que hasta agosto no habrá más datos, y que agradecen a los que se ofrecen de betatesters pero ahora mismo no necesitan. Por otro lado, LOMAC tendrá su parche de mejoras nuevo, pero de momento no piensan comentar más cosas. Buenas noticias para LOMAC, que efectivamente sigue vivo, y tendremos herramientas de terreno y aviones, se abren muchas puertas en el futuro. more/DSLam Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 El update de mayo decía casi lo mismo XD Eagle Dynamics Update – 03 May 2009 There are multiple projects ongoing at Eagle and I thought a brief status report may answer a lot of questions: 1- DCS: Black Shark Patch. The patch is in-work and we still hope to release it in the next month or two. In addition to fixing a few remaining show-stopper bugs, a lot of time is being used to re-record some of the training tracks that were broken as a result of patch changes. After that is all done, we need to take care of the patch localization. 2- DCS: Black Shark Localization. Aside from the Spanish version, all versions have been completed. However, the team is focused on correcting errors introduced when the French version was duplicated. The Spanish version is wrapping up localization and we hope to release it in the next month or two. 3- DCS: A-10C Warthog. Parts of the team are already focused on this project and more will be shifted to it once the Black Shark tasks are completed. Progress is good and we plan to release much more information about this come summer time. 4- Lock On: Flaming Cliffs. This franchise will see further development in 2009 now that Black Shark is wrapping up. Once details are hammered out, we will be able to provide more information. Eomer Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 Propongo abrir un hilo en los foros de ED diciendo que a estas alturas el personal ya pasa de comprar su juego (si, su juego) en castellano y podemos poner los nicks de todo el que tenga esa intención, osea no comprarlo, porque piensa que esto ya pasa de castaño oscuro. No serviria para nada, pero por lo menos algún responsable-irresponsable veria el sentir de una pequeña parte de la comunidad española.
