And such, i have quite some respect for a lot of piltos in this squad and therefore im here to invite you to a match beetween =XIII= vs E69. =XIII= is going to take part i nthe USL season this here and it is about to start, we would like to have one last run on the 1st season map to test run it and the server. The map is "the Blitz" mabe by =XIII=Osprey, it is a Battle of britain Blitzmap. Red team is suplied with limit spitfires and unlimited hurricanes and must intercpt a bomber formation. Blue must escort the formation into london, with 109 e4. The map runs for 1 hour and then teams change sides and map is restarted for another 1 hour game. This follows a dogfihgt mission style not a coop. ITs mandatory to play 4.09 UP2.0 and Zuti doghtfight 1.1, or USL Addons. the teams should be 8vs8 up to 10vs10. The rules of the match will be the same as the USL official rules, see www.uslglobal.com for more info, incluiding the map itself and its briefieng. the date we are aiming for this match, if accepted is the 23rd or 24th of january. Remember, this is a friendly match and its objective its for piltos to have fun and enjoy it! what do you guys think? =XII=Pupo, in the name of the =XIII=Legion UPDATE ----IMPORTANT INFO----- Unfortotly, The USL Team as decided to cancel the BLitz Map, due to a still to be discovered bug that causes unpossible to play due to irregualar game crashes and player kick. A substitute map as been released, Operation Shingle by the same creator and tested as bug free. This bug is most liked related with big map size and it has been seen on spits and 109 mod server also. So in the name of the USL directive Borther and the =XIII= LEgion i here present my apologies, and i hope you can be comprehensive on our situation. Till then all i cna say si that hte new mission is more tactical challenging that the previos one, there are mroe planes available, incluiding bombers and LOTS of ground targets to take on, Level bombing, dive bombing, skip bombing and straffign are all viable options on this map. if not maistaken there will be NO Ai controled aircraift but there will be moving carriers and moving ground targets. AS i really dont know much of this mission i cnat give any mroe specific info but i will in a day after i have studied the briefing and so. Accipiter Posted January 16, 2010 Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 Para elque no sepa ingles viene a decir que el escuadron XIII tiene ganas de verse las caras con el E69 en una especie de prueba del mapa y del server, la mision consiste en que los rojos con spitis limitados y hurricanes deben interceptar una formacion de bomber alemanes escoltados por emiles, en formato 8vs8 o 10vs10 (que poquitos) el 23 24 de enero con la 4.09 u el UP2.0, buena iniciativa me parece a mi. Also the british have hte radar mod at theisr desposal. Also the spits used are the MkI the correct model used back then,not available at the origianl il2.The emil used is also a special version of e4 modeled after an actual BOB model of the emil. The map used is also The Britain map by channelUK. If there are slots for green pilots I would like to join this match. I think it's a honor that a a foreing squadron contact us for this but why don't you try to get more planes and bombers to fly Pupo.
