Harrison Smith and Maj. Santiago Ibarreta lead the men and women of the 376th AEW and coalition team in remembering the fallen during a May 26 Memorial Day ceremony. The Manas AB coalition also paused to honor the fallen Spanish airmen and soldiers which marked the five year anniversary of 62 Spanish servicemembers lost in a 2003 commercial contract plane crash in Turkey. Colonel Smith is the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing commander and Major Ibarreta is the Spanish Air Force Mizar detachment commander at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyz Republic. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
