Después de semanas de incertidumbre, hace 48 horas publicaron la mencionada información en los foros públicos (algo así como su papelera de reciclaje) . He aquí un fragmento (en realidad es toda la noticia) de lo que allí se publicó... FO Documents DevelopmentYou can see from my sig that I am documentation manager for FO, so I thought I would provide a sitrep about the current state of program docs. Everything about FO screams high fidelity and the documentation accompanying the FO software will be no exception. Our sources are mainly unclassified manuals published by the USAF and other governments, input from current and former military pilots, USAF ground crew, and assistance from defense departments, as well as Jane’s and other reliable civilian publications. As with everything at this stage, the following information is all subject to change. First drafts of docs for the initial FO release have been completed and are being proofed by highly qualified reviewers. These include: 1. A User Guide describing software installation, program setup, navigating the user interface, and the FO fighter training program. 2. Syllabuses for the 3 stages of FO pilot training: Initial Pilot Training (IPT), Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) and Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF). 3. Manuals for the first 2 aircraft: T6A Texan and T-38C Talon. Each has 2 volumes due to their size, Aircraft Systems (description of all the hardware) and Flying Operations (how you fly the thing). 4. A separate Instrument Flying and Navigation manual. Work has also begun on documents for our first operational combat jet. These documents comprise thousands of pages and hundreds of figures and tables. They will be as authentic, comprehensive and user-friendly as we can make them. Moreover, the documents are in a very flexible form, making them convenient for print publication, presentation on your monitor, and even importing into the 3D world. Now, does this mean everyone will have to digest thousands of pages of technical documents to enjoy FO? Of course not. FO will offer levels of automation (simplified avionics) so that those who want to jump in the cockpit and start zooming can do so with minimal preparation. But for those who crave a full fidelity study sim, this is your Nirvana. You want the closest possible experience to real military pilot training? FO is it. Please do not read into this report any implications for release timing. That is still a ways off, but work does continue apace. El típico manual de instalación y configuración, los manuales de sistemas y operación de los dos aviones de entrenamiento de la primera entrega (2 volúmenes por manual, 4 en total por avión) más otro de navegación. También dicen que ya han empezado a escribir el manual de su primer avión de combate (el que se supone vendrá con la segunda entrega) :risa-3: Lo curioso es que no dicen ni el número de páginas aproximado que tienen los manuales, algo sencillo de decir si realmente ya han terminado el borrador inicial. Después de esta sorprendente noticia nos pide que "no nos chupemos las pollas todavía" porque el hecho de que esos manuales estén listos no implica que el software también lo esté, pero dicen que "están trabajando en ello".
